Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about CSLight.
What is CSLight?
CSLight is CRCALVES’s Customer Success reference point and community. It’s an AI assistant specialized in CS that answers your questions from a curated knowledge base — CRCALVES’s own materials, courses, events, and content from partner institutes.
Beyond the AI, your subscription includes access to an exclusive community with a newsletter, research, and contacts from people who practice CS every day.
What is it for?
To give you fast, reliable validation for your Customer Success decisions — strategic and operational. Example uses: how to reduce churn caused by misalignment between Sales and CS, how to prove the ROI of the CS team to the board and the CFO, how to structure CS metrics and operations.
How is this different from ChatGPT, Gemini, and other general-purpose AI?
Curation.General-purpose AI answers based on everything on the internet — including content that is wrong, outdated, or made up. CSLight answers only from a specialized, constantly updated base, with reliable data proven by market experience, classes, and events. That’s why it doesn’t search the internet: curation is the differentiator.
Community. You’re not just subscribing to an AI: you join a community of CS practitioners, with a newsletter, exclusive research and, on the Corporate plan, direct access to the CRCALVES specialists.
Price. A specialized AI for the price of a general-purpose one.
What does "10 questions per month" mean?
On the Individual plan you get 10 questions per month. Each message sent to CSLight counts as 1 question. An on-screen counter shows how many you have left. Your balance renews every 30 calendar days from your subscription date (not the calendar month).
You only spend a question when you get an answer: questions rejected by moderation (“CSLight does not work with this type of information”) don’t count against your balance — and if an error occurs and no answer arrives, the credit is returned too.
Do questions work like a conversation?
No. Every question to CSLight is independent: there is no ongoing dialogue and no memory between one question and the next. CSLight doesn’t know what you asked before — so write each question in full, including the context it needs (for example: instead of “and how do I apply that?”, ask “how do I apply a health score in a B2B operation with 50 customers?”).
Is there a free question?
No. To ask CSLight anything you need an active subscription (Individual or Corporate). On the home page you’ll find a video demo of how it works, before you subscribe.
What happens when I reach the limit?
Your choice: add +10 questions for R$ 50 (paid online, right away) or talk to our team about upgrading your plan at contato@crcalves.com. Those +10 questions are valid only through the end of the current cycle — they don’t roll over to the next month, which already starts with the plan’s regular 10 questions.
What are the plans?
Individual — R$ 100/month. 10 questions per month with the AI, a free CSM Brain assessment, and membership in the exclusive community (newsletter, contacts, and research). Any email works, including a personal one.
Corporate — from R$ 5,000/month. Unlimited questions with the AI, a free CSM Brain assessment for team members, a free CS Radar assessment for the CS team and operation, membership in the exclusive community, and access to the CRCALVES specialists: one 1-hour meeting per month (extra meetings: R$ 500 each). Requires a corporate email; access uses a single credential shared by the company. Talk to us at contato@crcalves.com for a proposal.
How do I get into the CSLight Community?
When you subscribe, you receive an email inviting you to the CSLight Community group on LinkedIn. The invitation goes to the same email you signed up with — if your LinkedIn account uses a different one, write to contato@crcalves.com and we’ll sort it out.
While your subscription is active, your community access continues as normal. If it’s canceled, access is paused until you reactivate.
How does CSLight handle the privacy of my data?
In the current version, CSLight keeps no memory between questions: each question is processed independently, with no context from what you asked before. The record of the question stays linked to your account for up to 90 days (for support and curation of the base) and is anonymized after that.
Even so, one important recommendation: if you use the Individual plan, avoid putting confidential or identifiable company data into your questions (customer names, revenue figures, contracts). Phrase questions generically — the quality of the answer doesn’t depend on those details. On the Corporate plan, the relationship is governed by the contract signed with the company.
The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
What technology is behind CSLight?
Two layers. The first is Claude, Anthropic’s AI, one of the most advanced and safest artificial intelligence technologies in the world. The second is the curation of CRCALVES’s knowledge base: real success cases, properly anonymized so no confidential data is exposed (in line with our Privacy Policy), plus a range of research institutes, publications, and market analyses.
Within CSLight, Claude answers exclusively from that curated base — no internet search, no generic content. You get the best of both worlds: the capability of a cutting-edge AI with the reliability of a specialized base.
Are there questions CSLight won't answer?
Yes. CSLight does not answer questions with offensive content, requests for specific data about other companies, or direct comparisons with named companies. In those cases you’ll see the message “CSLight does not work with this type of information.” Rejected questions don’t count against your plan balance.
Does CSLight keep my conversation history?
No. In the current version, each question is processed independently, with no memory between interactions. Conversation history is on the roadmap for future versions.
Where can I use it?
In any browser — computer, tablet, or phone. There’s no native iOS/Android app in this version.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Right in the app, in the account area, no red tape.
